Basic Life Support Workshop
Need to learn life-saving interventions for medical emergencies? Invite us to your community
Elijeko Foundation’s Basic Life Supoort Workshop brings preventive and emergency health care education to remote communities across Ghana. Through a partnership with the National Ambulance Service (NAS), and thanks to our numerous volunteers, we offer nationwide comprehensive pre-hospital emergency care training to communities and individuals in Ghana.
We only hold free First Aid Workshops in communities or organizations that invite us. Motivated community members, community leaders, and/or local organizations can join to host Elijeko Foundation’s Frist Aid Workshop.
A host identifies a community’s specific needs and helps Elijeko Foundation in committing time and efforts to recruit and mobilize participants to attend our First Aid Workshops.
Elijeko Pop-up Clinics
To address the issue of lack of access to care, our foundation employs the services of volunteer medical professionals to conduct frequent medical outreach programs in communities across Ghana. We have weekly health talk shows and organize frequent community free health screening activities, and schools/churches health talks. We climax our activities by hosting the annual “Health and Wellness Fair”, where we gather various specialties to provide free medical care to the community.
Elijeko Kiosk Clinics
To provide continuity of care to clients that receive our services during our health promotion and community outreach events, we have established various clinics using shipping containers where our volunteers provide services in the areas of maternal health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and malaria prevention. We are currently setting up an URGENT CARE CENTER in Kumasi to provide comprehensive outpatient services. The goal of this initiative is to encourage the community to engage in annual health assessments, annual health checks are vital to health promotion.
